Sodexo Appoints New CFO for North America Operations
In a significant move, Sodexo has named Rohit Bahety as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its North America branch. This announcement marks a pivotal change in the company’s financial leadership. Bahety, an experienced figure within the company, will take over the role to drive Sodexo’s financial strategy in North America.
Transition and Leadership Continuity
Bahety’s appointment is part of a strategic leadership transition. He will be working closely with Sébastien de Tramasure, the outgoing CFO who has been elevated to the position of group chief financial officer. This collaboration is aimed at ensuring a seamless transition in the financial stewardship of the company.
Rohit Bahety: A Veteran in Finance
Rohit Bahety, the newly appointed CFO, is not new to Sodexo. He brings a wealth of experience, having dedicated 18 years to various financial roles within the company. His journey with Sodexo began in 2006 in India, after leaving Abbott Healthcare. Over the years, Bahety has held several key positions, including the CFO of the Energy & Resource division in the UK & Ireland, and later, the CFO for Sodexo India, before ascending to the role of India president in 2020. His recent tenure as CFO for the Campus and Government divisions in the U.S. has been instrumental in preparing him for this North American role.
CEO Commends Bahety’s Ascension
Sarosh Mistry, CEO of Sodexo North America, expressed enthusiasm about Bahety’s promotion. “Rohit’s appointment is a testament to his remarkable journey and contributions within Sodexo. His extensive experience and proven track record in financial leadership positions him ideally to steer our North American financial operations,” Mistry stated. The CEO’s endorsement underscores the confidence in Bahety’s ability to lead the financial aspects of Sodexo’s North American business.
